  • Loki Season 2 Gets Release Date Amidst Controversial Star Jonathan Majors

LOKI Season 2 Update: The highly anticipated second season of the hit Marvel series, Loki, has been the talk of the town among fans ever since it was confirmed by Disney+. However, recent controversies surrounding the show’s star, Jonathan Majors, have raised concerns about the fate of the upcoming season.

In this article, we will take a closer look at the latest updates on the release date of Loki Season 2 amidst the ongoing controversies surrounding Jonathan Majors.

First, let’s delve into the controversies surrounding the actor. Jonathan Majors, who played the role of He Who Remains in the season one finale, is set to play the iconic villain Kang in the upcoming season. However, he has been facing serious allegations of abuse, assault, and harassment. Majors and his team have denied all these allegations, but the situation has caused a lot of concern among fans.

    LOKI Season 2 Release Date:

Despite the controversies, Disney has confirmed that Loki Season 2 is set to release in mid-2023. This comes after a lot of shifts in the release date, with the original expectation being that the show would arrive toward the end of 2022.

Insider KC Walsh had earlier claimed that Loki Season 2 would release in September, while Mobius actor Owen Wilson had hinted at an end-of-summer release. However, according to the latest report by Variety, the show is now expected to arrive on Disney+ in mid-2023.

It is worth noting that Jonathan Majors’ scenes for the show were filmed well before the controversies surfaced, and the actor has already completed his role in the upcoming season. Majors is set to play multiple Kang Variants, including the 20th-century genius Victor Timely, who was teased in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

Disney has stated that it is “monitoring” the situation closely and is “discussing options” with Majors’ team as the controversy continues to unfold. It is still unclear whether the controversy will impact Majors’ involvement in the marketing of the show.

  • Who Is G’iah, Emilia Clarke’s Character in ‘Secret Invasion’?

Emilia Clarke is set to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut as G’iah in the highly-anticipated political thriller ‘Secret Invasion’. The series, based on the popular comic book storyline of the same name, will see a new faction of Skrulls taking matters into their own hands after decades of unfulfilled promises. In this article, we’ll delve into who G’iah is and what role she will play in the upcoming Marvel series.

    Who is G’iah?

G’iah (pronounced ‘gaia’) is the daughter of Talos, the Skrull commander played by Ben Mendelsohn in the MCU. Although G’iah made a brief appearance as a child in the 2019 film ‘Captain Marvel’, her character holds a special connection to the franchise. Unlike her father, G’iah (Emilia Clarke) doesn’t exactly hold the human race in high esteem, and her feelings of resentment have been built up over the years due to unfulfilled promises made by those who vowed to help the Skrulls find a new homeland.

What role will G’iah play in ‘Secret Invasion’?

G’iah will be a key player in ‘Secret Invasion’, as both she and Olivia Colman’s character, a ruthless MI6 agent, will be diving headfirst into the murky waters of the Skrulls’ clandestine infiltration of powerful organizations and governments. Although they will ostensibly be on different sides of the conflict, very little is what it seems when Skrulls are involved, as they can shapeshift to look like anyone.

Emilia Clarke has described her character as having a “punk feeling”, as she is a refugee kid who has had Talos for a dad. G’iah’s constant living in her father’sshadow has hardened her, and her confrontational aspects have come from the circumstance. She has a lot of emotions that live within her, and her feelings of resentment towards the human race are understandable given their broken promises.

What can we expect from Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of G’iah?

Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of G’iah is expected to be a departure from her previous roles, as the character is more hardened and confrontational than we have seen from the actress before. She has described G’iah as having a punk feeling, which suggests that the character will have a rebellious streak. This will likely be a challenging role for Clarke, as she will need to balance G’iah’s emotional complexity with her tough exterior.

What has Samuel L. Jackson said about the series?

Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the MCU, has revealed that shooting ‘Secret Invasion’ has taught him “things that even I really didn’t know about Nick Fury”. He has also stated that the series will give him an opportunity to explore something other than the “badassery” of Fury’s character. This suggests that we can expect a more nuanced portrayal of the character in the upcoming series.

Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of G’iah in ‘Secret Invasion’ is highly anticipated by MCU fans, as the character holds a special connection to the franchise and is expected to be a departure from Emilia Clarke’s previous roles. G’iah’s emotional complexity and tough exterior make her a challenging character to play, but we have no doubt that Clarke will do the character justice. With Samuel L. Jackson also promising a more nuanced portrayal of Nick Fury, ‘Secret Invasion’ is shaping up to be one of the most exciting MCU series yet. Secret Invasion is now releasing on 21st June 2023.

  • Kang the Conqueror to Play a Larger Role in Loki Season 2: What to Expect

Marvel fans were already excited about the prospect of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror appearing in Loki’s second season. But a new report from The Cosmic Circus indicates that the villain will play an even larger role in the show’s upcoming episodes.

According to the outlet, Kang the Conqueror will have a “far more present role” in Season 2, with Majors expected to appear in at least three episodes. This news, while unconfirmed by Marvel Studios, has fans speculating about what the villain’s involvement could mean for the series.

One possibility is that Loki and Mobius will travel to various timestreams in search of different Kang Variants. The Cosmic Circus reports that fans shouldn’t rule out the appearance of other versions of the villain in addition to the already confirmed Victor Timely.

Kang the Conqueror’s Role in Loki Season 2

With so many variations of Kang to choose from, it’s hard to predict which ones might show up next. Fans are already speculating about the possibility of Loki and Mobius encountering Rama-Tut in Ancient Egypt or Mr. Gryphon, who in the comics buys Stark (or Avengers) Tower.

Another intriguing possibility is that the duo will run into He Who Remains again, but this time, it’ll be during his rise to power before he created the Sacred Timeline. This could provide some fascinating plot developments while further fleshing out the mysterious character who scared Hiddleston’s former villain so badly.

As for what we can expect from Kang the Conqueror’s larger role in the series, it’s anyone’s guess. But with Marvel’s track record for crafting complex and compelling villains, fans are eagerly anticipating the Conqueror’s next move.

Loki Season 2 is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year, and fans will be eagerly tuning in to see what Kang has in store for the God of Mischief and his allies.

  • Secret Invasion rumour leaks a big detail about Emilia Clarke’s character in the series

After months of keeping fans in dark, the makers of Secret Invasion are finally opening up on the details of the upcoming Disney+ MCU series. A couple of days ago, it was confirmed that Game of Thrones fame star Emilia Clarke who is a featuring in the series will be playing the much-anticipated role of Veranke, the Queen of the Skrull Empire. However, the character has been tweaked a lot and we shall be talking about that and some other interesting rumours regarding the series in this article.

Unlike the Marvel comics where Veranke has been portrayed as a much more independent and powerful character, the upcoming MCU series will reportedly portray her as the daughter of Talos.

We saw Talos previously in Captain Marvel and also in Spider-Man: Far From Home under the disguise of Nick Fury. He is an ally of Nick Fury and will be seen to play a central role in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion.

Marvel’s Secret Wars comic lineup has a massive storyline is massive and it is not humanly possible to mention even half of that in the limited series. Thus, it is being rumoured that the show will be much smaller in comparison to the comic-book events.

As far as the Pre-reshoots are concerned, aren’t revealing any MCU superheroes to be Skrulls which was one of the key plots in the comic-book lineup. They are most likely saving that part for the follow-up movie event. Secret Invasion will thus simply be a Nick Fury/Talos show and the Introduction of Emilia Clarke as Veranke will be one of its key attractions.

These rumours will undoubtedly kill the high expectations of many of those fans who had dreamt of a comic-book accurate series.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion will be released on the OTT platform Disney+ most probably in the first half of 2023 right after the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Samuel L. Jackson will be making his much anticipated return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through this series and it will be interesting to see where the character of Nick Fury head from here.

  • Ethan Hawke talks about the Future possibilities for Moon Knight Season 2

If you have followed all the Moon Knight clips that have been revealed by Marvel so far, you must know by now that the character of Arthur Harrow that is being played by Hollywood star Ethan Hawke is one of the main antagonists in the Disney+ MCU series. We have seen some of Arthur Harrow’s powers till now, the most awesome one being the one in which he summons an ancient Egyptian devil with his spells. There is no doubt in the fact that he will be a worthy opponent of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight.

Moon Knight is set to be the origin story of Marvel’s namesake vigilante Anti-hero. Although it is being speculated that Moon Knight will be one of Marvel’s key characters in the MCU going forward, it is unknown whether we will get to see a sequel of the series or will Moon Knight directly move on to the other bigger franchises of the MCU. We must not forget that a possible collab between Mahershala Ali’s Blade, Kit Harington’s Black Knight and Marc Spector is on the charts so there’s that as well.

Ethan Hawke talks about Moon Knight’s future

Amid such speculations, Ethan Hawke who plays the role of Arthur Harrow has given us some intel about the future of Marc Spector and the other characters of the upcoming Disney+ series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ethan Hawke has suggested that although it is being said to be a Limited Series which means it will not have a sequel, Marvel might also treat is as just the beginning of a much bigger project which will open up a plethora of opportunities for the character.

“The good news is that it’s possibly both. It lives and breathes on its own merits, it functions as a limited series – and if people are engaged and excited by it then it could be the origin story of a larger thing,” Ethan Hawke said.

Moon Knight will be premiering on Disney+ in about a week’s time on March 30. The early reviews for the series are awesome and some are even calling it the best Marvel series till date. You can check the early reviews of Moon Knight here.

  • New Moon Knight clip gives away a big detail about Arthur Harrow’s Powers

Marvel has been releasing small bits of some interesting scenes from their upcoming Disney+ MCU series Moon Knight. It is a different strategy that the Studio has followed this time around and it is working as the fans are getting more and more eager about the movie. In the most recent video clip that Marvel has released, we are shown a rather important scene where Arthur Harrow (played by Ethan Hawke) shows his powers for the first time.

Who is Moon Knight’s Arthur Harrow

From what we can understand from the videos so far, Arthur Harrow is going to be the main antagonist in Moon Knight. He has been shown to be a cult leader who is well versed in ancient Egyptian scriptures and the latest clip suggests that he can use his powers and knowledge of old scriptures to summon Egyptian gods and demons. This makes his powers slightly similar to that of Moon Knight as he draws his powers directly from the Egyptian God of death, Khonsu. It might be so that Arthur Harrow needs wants to acquire this power.

The scene from the recently released clip seems to be set inside a pyramid. We can see Arthur Harrow, some of his followers of people, Layla and Marc Spector a.k.a Moon Knight in the scene.

The scene and Arthur Harrow’s Powers

Layla asks Marc to suit up to save them from Harrow and their Thugs and gives her something that resembles a golden egg. It must have some major significance as otherwise, she would not have prioritised the safety of the egg over herself.

The two thus try to escape the place and Arthur Harrow and his men clearly don’t like it and they try to stop it. It is then that Arthur Harrow reads out an ancient Egyptian spell and taps his crane on the floor. The floor barges open and the hand of a mysterious devilish creature is shown. Although we do not know what it was exactly for sure, it was definitely something to be scared about.

It appears to be a climax scene as otherwise, Arthur Harrow would not have revealed his true powers. To know everything about the series, we will have to see Moon Knight on 30th March as soon as it gets released on Disney+ Hotstar.

  • The Secret behind Ms Marvel’s Powers in MCU – REVEALED

The trailer of Marvel’s much-awaited series Ms Marvel featuring Kamala Khan has finally been released and fans are all but curious about the origin of her powers. The young Superhero seemingly has a wide range of powers but as this is her first appearance in the MCU, fans barely know anything about her. Thus in this article, we shall be talking about the real reason behind Ms Marvel’s powers.

Source of Ms Marvel’s Powers in Comicbooks

Well, to begin with, Marvel has decided to change the sources of Kamala’s powers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Marvel Comics, Kamala Khan is unhuman and that is where she gets her superhuman abilities from. She had Inhuman lineage and was activated by the Terrigen bomb upon being exposed by the Terrigen Mist.

Source of Ms Marvel’s Powers in MCU

Marvel decided to go down a different route as far as Kamala Khan’s Superhero abilities’ origin is concerned as fans are not yet much aware of the Inhumans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and their fate will be reviewed later. However, the prime concern right now is safeguarding the interest of the Public in Ms Marvel and thus they decided to go off the book and introduce a Bangle as the source of Ms Marvel’s true powers.

    What are Nega-Bands

The trailer of Ms Marvel shows Kamala Khan wearing a futuristic bangle and this was what gave her all those Superpowers to begin within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Marvel comics, Nega-Bands are Kree empire artefacts that were originally given to the first Captain America, Mar-Vell. The bands passed on from one hand to another after his death before finally reaching the able hands of the current day Ms Marvel, Kamala Khan.

The Powers of Nega-Bands include Energy manipulation, flight, teleportation, Super durability and gives its owner the fat to change in between the song.

    Kamala’s powers in the MCU

In Marvel comics, Nega-bands usually come in pairs but we saw Kamala wearing only one of them in the trailer. Wearing just one band also gives the wearer powers but only partially and anyone who holds both bands can be considered to be one of the most powerful beings in the world as the Nega-bands are Omega level weapons

Probably we will be seeing Kamala searching for the other band at some point in the first season or the sequel of Ms Marvel. Currently, Kamala seems to possess the powers of Energy manipulation, shape-shifting and we will witness her discovering more of her powers in the series.

  • Secret Invasion Confirmed and Rumoured Cast, all details

Marvel’s Secret Invasion is one of the most anticipated MCU Disney+ series which is set to be released either in the latter half of 2022 or at the beginning of 2023. The Disney+ series will be loosely based around its namesake Marvel Crossover comic book which narrated the storyline of a long-term Skrull invasion of the earth in which the shape-shifting aliens had secretly replaced some of the Earth’s mightiest heroes as imposters.

Nick Fury, the former head of S.H.I.E.L.D will be one of the lead characters in the series. It will be 6-episodes long and according to rumours, it might set up the studio’s upcoming big-budget movie ‘The Marvels’ which is the sequel of Captain America (2019).

In this article, we shall take a look at the Confirmed and Rumoured cast of Secret Invasion.

    Secret Invasion Cast

    Confirmed Star Cast

    1. Samuel L. Jackson – Nick Fury

Samuel L. Jackson returns in the role of Nick Fury in Secret Invasion. This will be the first time we see him in a Marvel project after Spider-Man: Far From Home. Well technically that was just a Skrull pretending to be Nick Fury and in that case, we last saw him in Captain Marvel.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, there was a big reference to Nick Fury when Peter said to his investigators that Nick Fury was with throughout his beef with Mysterio. The investigator replied to him that Nick Fury has been off the world for over a year. According to various theories, Nick Fury is with the Skrulls in a Space Station, exactly like we saw in Captain Marvel.

In the post-credit scene of WandaVision, a Skrull imposter told Monica Rambeau that somebody in the space was waiting for him and it is Nick Fury in all likelihood. Secret Invasion will be the first major Marvel Project where the former S.H.I.E.L.D head will be the main lead.

    2. Ben Mendelsohn – Talos

Ben Mendelsohn played the role of Talos in Captain Marvel. Talos is a Skrull general who befriended Captain Marvel and Nick Fury and using their help, saved the Skrull refugees from the Kree Empire. We know from Marvel comics that not all Skrulls are good but Talos is one of the Skrulls who we can trust in the MCU. He is an ally of Nick Fury and can be of great help in his attempts to stop the Skrulls from invading Earth.

    3. Cobie Smulders – Maria Hill

Maria Hill, the character played by Cobie Smulders in the MCU, is one of the most trustworthy associates Nick Fury. We first saw her first in Avengers (2012) and she has since then been portrayed as one of the right-hands of Samuel L. Jackson’s played character. We have rarely witnessed a scene where Nick Fury is without Maria Hill and they even blipped together in the post-credit scene of Avengers: Infinity War.

    4. Emilia Clarke – Unknown

It is now sure that Emilia Clarke will be playing a major role in Secret Invasion but Marvel is yet to announce exactly which role it is that she will play.

The Game of Thrones fame actress has been seen in the sets of Secret Invasion in many leaked images and in one scene she was even facing an alien-like creature.

Emilia Clarke herself announced on a show a few months ago that she will appear in the Marvel TV series and we are likely to get an update on her character soon.

According to some rumours, Emilia Clarke might play the role of Veranke who serves as the Queen of Skrull Empire. However, the looked shots from the movie have shown her in ordinary human form. Although the rumours can not be verified yet, it is most probably true.

Martin Freeman – Everett K. Ross

Agent Everett K. Ross is a CIA agent and former Task Force commander. We have previously seen him in Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther.

He was assigned the task of keeping track of all the activities of the Avengers in Civil war after the Sokovia Accords. After the end of all the events in that movie, he put Zemo behind the bars and went after Ulysses Klaue on another mission and was mortally wounded by Erik Killmonger. He was then brought to Wakanda by Black Panther and Shuri healed him.

He is expected to next appear in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which will be the second movie of the franchise.

    Other Confirmed Cast

    • Olivia Coman – Unknown
    • Christopher McDonald – Unknown
    • Carmen Ejogo – Unknown
    • Kingsley Ben-Adir – Unknown
    • Killian Scott – Unknown
    • Billy Clements – La Selva Guard
    • Tony McCarthy – Alien

  • Moon Knight will not be set in the Current MCU! Producer makes Shocking Revelation

Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight is set to release in about 2 weeks’ time on 30th March and the hype about it on the internet is insane. It is the first time that fans will see such a psychologically complex character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they are fully pumped up to witness the origin story of Marvel’s infamous Masked Vigilante. However, the executive Producer has now made a big revelation about the upcoming series and it might break a few hearts.

Grant Curtis says Moon Knight has ‘No Attachment to the Current MCU’

In a recent Disney Press Release, Moon Knight’s executive producer Grant Curtis dropped a bombshell. While talking about the character and the upcoming series, Curtis hinted that Moon Knight will have no connection whatsoever to the current MCU as we know it and that it will be a solo series.

“There’s no attachment to the current MCU. He’s brand-new, and he is going on a brand-new adventure. We really think the fans are going to enjoy it,” Curtis Grant said.

    – Grant Spector

Talking about the complex character of Marc Spector a.k.a Moon Knight, the executive producer said that they want to show the character’s growth from the beginning to the end gradually just like they did for Tony Stark’s Iron Man. Thus, Marvel wants to make a new hero from ground zero.

“There are multiple aspects of Moon Knight that get us internally jazzed at Marvel Studios. But one of the unique aspects of this character is it’s taking Marvel Studios to its Iron Man and Tony Stark roots. That was a character that was obviously built from the ground up, and it is the same with Marc Spector,” he said.

    – Grant Spector

Is Moon Knight set in the MCU?

Although many might think that Curtis Grant is suggesting that Moon Knight is not set in the MCU, I personally think that he means something else. The executive producer wants to say that the series will not have any reference to the events that have been going on the rest of the MCU, like the blip or the death of Tiamut – Earth’s celestial.

Going forward, Moon Knight will be one of Marvel’s important characters in Phase 4 and there is no reason why they would keep such a powerful character separated from the MCU. A number of upcoming MCU characters like the Black Knight and Blade are rumoured to team up together with Moon Knight and thus there is still no doubt in the fact that Moon Knight is set in the MCU.

  • Marvel releases the First Look of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk

Marvel finally released the first look of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk today and it has received great reactions from the fans so far. She-Hulk is one of the many MCU Disney+ series that is set to be released on the OTT platform this year and it will introduce the very powerful female incarnation of the Hulk to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time.

What we know about She-Hulk so far

According to Marvel Comics, Jennifer Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner and she is a lawyer by profession. She was once shot by a mobster following which Bruce saved her by a blood transfusion from himself. However, the Gamma radiation mutated Jennifer and turned her into a super-hero named She-Hulk.

Jennifer Walters might not be as powerful as the Hulk but she is extraordinarily smart and she even learned how to control her transformation, following which she embraced her green alter-ego. That is why, unlike Bruce Banner, Jennifer is always seen in her Green look.

The series is expected to be a comedy court drama featuring the new character and it will also portray the relationship between Hulk and She-Hulk. In future, Jennifer Walters can even take over Hulk’s spot in the MCU as the trait of replacing heroes with their female counterparts is growing up a lot lately.

The First Official look of She-Hulk

After much anticipation, Marvel has finally revealed the first full look of Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk. In the renders released by Marvel, she is in her fully mutated form which suggests that just like in the comic books, Jennifer Walters will be seen in her green form for most of the time in the series as well.

Another art that has been released shows Tatiana Maslany’s face with half of it being Jennifer Walters and the other half being She-Hulk.

She-Hulk: Release Date and Rumoured cast

MCU’s Disney+ series ‘She-Hulk’ is expected to release in the latter half of 2022. Although the date is not known yet, some surprising appearances in the Series are being strongly rumoured.

It is sure that Mark Ruffalo will be appearing in the series as Bruce Banner. Rumour has it that Abomination will also play a crucial role in the series. As we last saw Abomination alongside Wong in Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings, it can be expected that Wong and Shang Chi will make cameos in the series. William Hurt will also return in the role of Thunderbolt Ross.
