  • American Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is likely to star in Marvel’s She-Hulk

Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series ‘She-Hulk’ has already added some heavy-hitters like Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth as Abomination to their star cast. According to rumours, the makers are now looking to bring in some more familiar faces to the series and American rap sensation Megan Thee Stallion is reportedly under their radar as well.

The Cosmic Circus has reported that Megan Thee Stallion, who is a platinum recording artist, has shot one action scene for the series She-Hulk. Marché Day (Monique Ganderton), who has previously worked in some other Marvel projects like Loki and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, might probably be the stunt double of Megan Thee Stallion as she has been listed as “stunt double for a TBA actress” in the She-Hulk roster.

On the other hand, STUNT POC has specifically listed her as the Stunt double for Megan Thee Stallion which makes things even more intriguing. According to rumours, Megan Thee Stallion will appear as a fictionalized version of herself in the series for more than episodes. This means that she might be playing herself in the movie in a rather exaggerated form.

This is not the first time that a famous Hollywood artist will be appearing in an MCU project. We saw Harry Styles making a surprise cameo in the Post-credits scene of Chloe Zoe’s Eternals as Starfox and the role might become a mainstay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the days to come. Every celebrity dreams to work with Marvel Studios nowadays as they are literally the biggest money-making studio in Hollywood right now.

Tatiana Maslany will be playing the main role of She-Hulk a.k.a Jennifer Walters in the series alongside the other well established MCU stars like Tim Roth and Mark Ruffalo. According to the latest rumours, Benedict Wong will also make an appearance in the series as Wong. You can read more about Wong’s cameo here

The release date of She-Hulk has not been confirmed yet but we know this much that it will be released somewhere around the latter half of 2022 after Ms Marvel which is set to release on 8th June.

  • She-Hulk rumour reveals THIS MCU superhero will make an appearance in the Disney+ series

Now that Moon Knight has officially been released worldwide and Marvel has also posted the trailer of Ms Marvel, the studio is now going to focus on their much anticipated upcoming Disnsey+ MCU series ‘She-Hulk’. She-Hulk will showcase the origin story of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters who gets converted into her green coloured self upon being transfused with Banner’s blood after an accident.

However, unlike her cousin, Jennifer Walters did not get transformed into a humungous monster. Yes, she is strong but not as strong as the Hulk but rather she got a significant boost in her confidence, appearance and her intelligence. Actor Tatiana Maslany will be playing the role of She-Hulk in the upcoming Disney+ series.

She-Hulk is set to be a completely unique Marvel project something we have never seen before from the Studio. It is set to be a comedy series, perhaps even Marvel’s first Sitcom styled series. Basically, it might turn out to be what Wanda Vision would have been without Agatha Harkness. However, rumour has it that for the same reason, the creators are having concerns about the series, i.e, they are having some creative problems. To be done with these problems, they have decided to bring in some stars from other MCU projects to create hype about the show.

Daredevil a.k.a Matt Murdock was the first MCU superhero who was linked to the show. However, his appearance was pretty obvious given the setting of the movie as Jennifer Walters herself is a lawyer by profession and Matt Murdock, as we all know, is an attorney. Fans are having some concerns regarding how a serious character like Matt Murdock who has been will fit in the comedic setting of She-Hulk and perhaps that is why a new character is now being rumoured to appear in She-Hulk as well.

According to reports, Sorcerer Supreme Wong is set to make a special appearance in She-Hulk. We have seen him making cameos in several other movies before (most notably in Shang-Chi) and all of his cameos have been comic thus he will be perfect for She-Hulk.

However, this also has some great implications. If Wong is set to appear in She-Hulk, it must imply one of these two things – he either does not die in Multiverse of Madness or the series is set before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It will be feasible to predict that it is the first one because Wong has been an important character in the MCU over the last few years and Marvel will probably want to keep him for a bit longer.

  • Marvel is facing creative Problems in the Post-production of She-Hulk

Marvel’s ‘She-Hulk’ is definitely going to be one of their most unique series out of the ton of their projects that will be released on the OTT platform Disney+ in 2022 simply because they have never done anything like this before. Unlike the usual thrilling gruesome stories that Marvel is usually habituated in making, She-Hulk will reportedly be a 10-episode long Comedy Sitcom that will serve both as the origin story of the character and Marvel’s first step into a completely new genre. However, as it turns out, Marvel’s upcoming show might be facing a major problem.

Industry insider Jeff Sneider, who has previously worked with Collider and Variety, recently said in an interview that Marvel is facing some creative issues with the She-Hulk series and it does not look good. Marvel always makes sure that it provides quality content to its fans but they probably can not assure that in the case of She-Hulk.

He said that “the She-Hulk series is not shaping up to be very good,” and that he has heard this from trusted sources on numerous occasions. We must remember that Jeff was the first guy to reveal that Marvel had signed Andrew Garfield for Spider-Man: No Way Home and very recently he also revealed that Christian Bale was doing reshoots for Thor: Love and Thunder. Thus he is a very trustworthy guy in this case and what he’s saying is probably a fact. But take it with a pinch of salt.

“I’ve heard not good things behind-the-scenes… and I’ve asked whether it’s Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel or Secret Invasion or any of these [projects], they are always like, ‘She-Hulk is the one that could be a problem,” he said.

However, he also added that nothing can be predicted about things like this because you never know which character the fans end up loving. The makers of Guardians of Galaxy were not sure about the success of the franchise either. But the members of the troop are some of the most famous characters in the MCU.

“I’ve heard it from people working on it, from people actually working on it who are just like, ‘We’ll see.’ I think that’s a lot of Marvel things, honestly, and you know where it’s just like, ‘Ugh, this could be really stupid, like we’ll see.’ I’m sure people making Guardians of the Galaxy felt that way, right? And most of the time [Marvel] pulls it out. But there will come a time where they won’t, that’s just the laws of moviemaking, the laws of numbers,” Jeff Sneider added.

  • Marvel releases the First Look of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk

Marvel finally released the first look of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk today and it has received great reactions from the fans so far. She-Hulk is one of the many MCU Disney+ series that is set to be released on the OTT platform this year and it will introduce the very powerful female incarnation of the Hulk to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time.

What we know about She-Hulk so far

According to Marvel Comics, Jennifer Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner and she is a lawyer by profession. She was once shot by a mobster following which Bruce saved her by a blood transfusion from himself. However, the Gamma radiation mutated Jennifer and turned her into a super-hero named She-Hulk.

Jennifer Walters might not be as powerful as the Hulk but she is extraordinarily smart and she even learned how to control her transformation, following which she embraced her green alter-ego. That is why, unlike Bruce Banner, Jennifer is always seen in her Green look.

The series is expected to be a comedy court drama featuring the new character and it will also portray the relationship between Hulk and She-Hulk. In future, Jennifer Walters can even take over Hulk’s spot in the MCU as the trait of replacing heroes with their female counterparts is growing up a lot lately.

The First Official look of She-Hulk

After much anticipation, Marvel has finally revealed the first full look of Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk. In the renders released by Marvel, she is in her fully mutated form which suggests that just like in the comic books, Jennifer Walters will be seen in her green form for most of the time in the series as well.

Another art that has been released shows Tatiana Maslany’s face with half of it being Jennifer Walters and the other half being She-Hulk.

She-Hulk: Release Date and Rumoured cast

MCU’s Disney+ series ‘She-Hulk’ is expected to release in the latter half of 2022. Although the date is not known yet, some surprising appearances in the Series are being strongly rumoured.

It is sure that Mark Ruffalo will be appearing in the series as Bruce Banner. Rumour has it that Abomination will also play a crucial role in the series. As we last saw Abomination alongside Wong in Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings, it can be expected that Wong and Shang Chi will make cameos in the series. William Hurt will also return in the role of Thunderbolt Ross.
