  • Avatar: The Way of Water Original Cast – Here’s how they look in real life!

Avatar: The Way of Water: After a long wait of over 13 years the sequel of James Cameron’s magnum opus ‘Avatar’ has finally hit the theaters in 2022. The original movie, which was released in 2009, was groundbreaking in every aspect. The world had not seen anything like Avatar till then and it was a sensational achievement in the field of motion pictures. The sequel, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ defies odds in a similar fashion and no wonder it has breaking records – both financially and award-wise.

For almost the entirety of the 3-hours runtime of the movie, there are no human actors on the screen. Apart from 4-5 exceptions, all the actors appear in their Na’vi forms in the movie. • Avatar: The Way of Water Review – Better than Avatar?

Avatar: The Way of Water Review: It’s been more than a decade since the highest-grossing movie of all time Avatar released. James Cameron is now back with the sequel of the movie without the fear of sequels falling short or being inferior to the original film. Cameron is the co-writer along with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, offering the audience a more emotional story, amazing underwater scenes, and stunning visuals throughout the movie.

Avatar: The Way of Water is a visual ride but long and thin in the story. However, lush world-building and characters have the depth to hold the audience until the end. This film beats every other on the ground when it comes to visuals and 3D is the cherry on top.

Instead of staying in the wilderness, Cameron decided to explore the oceans this time. The decision helped Cameron to create a new world, stories, creatures, and backgrounds that prevent it from becoming stagnant.

Story of Avatar: The Way of Water:

Instead of focusing on Jake Sully and the lead character, the story explores the younger Navi generations and their life stories and struggles. The story is set nearly two decades after the events of the first film. Jake is now the leader of the Navi tribe and married to Neytiri. He has a family with 4 children and a human child, better known as Spider. However, their happiness ends as humans are back with more new tech to fight and colonize Pandora.

Despite the movie being one of the best, the problems are still here with so many new characters introduced in this movie. The lead character of the first movie feels left behind as we didn’t even get to see what is happening with the Navi tribe. However, the scenes at the end setups the sequels of Avatar: The Way of Water.
