  • Ryan Reynolds reveals THIS Actor is returning for Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 is set to be MCU’s first-ever R-Rated movie and the hype about the movie is thus immense. Fox Studios had the rights to Deadpool until last year and thus the first two movies took place under their banner in a separate Universe. However, with the inclusion of Deadpool under Marvel, the third movie of the famous franchise will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we might expect to see a lot of Superhero cameos. The movie is in its production stage right now and we are getting big updates frequently. Today’s update is a positive one and will definitely bring a smile to the fans’ faces.

According to reports, actor Leslie Uggams who played the role of Blind Al in the first two movies of the franchise will be making a return in the third movie. Well, a few days ago Ryan Reynolds himself teased her possible return in the tweet and now insiders have said that it was more than just a blank teaser and that Leslie Uggams has actually been contacted by the Casting directors. She might have a contract soon and we can almost expect to see her in Deadpool 3.

Let us first take a look at the Twitter conversation that gave away the big news. Well, Leslie Uggams often reviews Hollywood movies on her Twitter handle and she did the same for Ryan Reynolds’ latest Netflix Original ‘The Adam Project’. She wrote in her review, “5⭐️for this wonderful film! #Deadpool pal @VancityReynolds has done it again, exploring the father/son relationship as a timeless force. There’s a lovely homage to #FieldOfDreams too. ⚾️Director @ShawnLevyDirect is now attached to the upcoming #Deadpool3, too. Should be great!😎”

Ryan Reynolds quote retweeted this and wrote “Thank you, Leslie. See you soon ⚔️⚔️⚔️”. Leslie then replied with 3 ‘eyes’ emojis. We know that Deadpool’s weapon of choice is a pair of swords and thus the Sword Emojis are definitely not a coincidence.

Coincidentally, the director of Deadpool 3, i.e Shawn Levy was also the director of the Adam Project and Leslie praised him for the movie as well.

We can’t wait to see the return of Leslie as Blind Al as she was one of the most loved characters in the entire series.

  • Bella Thorne wants to play this role in Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 is one of the most awaited MCU movies for many reasons. One of the reasons is that it is now confirmed to be MCU’s first R-Rated movie. Moreover, the fan-favourite character will now be situated in the same universe as Marvel’s other superheroes and this opens up a wide range of possibilities for Deadpool.

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds returns as the lead role and Canadian-American director Shawn Levy will be directing the movie. However, this is pretty much it and nothing else is known about the movie yet. Zazie Beetz and Karan Soni who played the roles of Domino and Dopinder respectively in Deadpool 2 have shown interest to be featured in the third movie but nothing is confirmed in that aspect as well.

Bella Thorne wants to play the role of Lady Deadpool

Meanwhile, Marvel fans have already made a fan casting. According to many rumours, there is a chance that Lady Deadpool will appear in Deadpool 3 and some think that Shake It Up fame Hollywood star Bella Thorne would be a perfect fit for the role.

Bella Thorne herself has now opened up on the fan casting and she said she would love to play the role.

“Yes, superheroes are definitely fun. I love action stuff, naturally, and I do a lot of action stuff with stunts and whatnot. It’s just always really fun on set and it breaks up the work day when you get to concentrate on the body and feel and how to perform not just using your voice. That’s always really fun for me,” Bella said.

Bella Thorne even said that Deadpool was one of her favourite superheroes and he loved Ryan Reynolds’ raunchiness.

“Deadpool is my favorite. It’s so raunchy and, hello, who doesn’t love Ryan Reynolds? He just f***ing nails that role to the floor.”

    – Bella Thorne

She also compared Deadpool to the famous Amazon Superhero series ‘The Boys’ which is also R-Rated and gives an unfiltered take on Superheroes.

“What I love about Deadpool is that realism mixed with the, you know, superhero world. It’s something where we feel we can talk to this superhero now in today’s day while still having them be a superhero. I love that shit. Like, The Boys? Love that TV show [Laughs].” Guys! I’m here. Where are you at?” she concluded.

  • Deadpool 3 director teases a Hulk team up for the upcoming movie

Ever since it was confirmed that Shawn Levy will be the director of Deadpool 3, there have been all kinds of rumours coming in about the fan-favourite Marvel character ranging from his Cameo in the Multiverse of Madness to the other Marvel Superheroes who might appear in the third movie of the Deadpool franchise. However, it is the director Shawn Levy himself who has now unravelled or rather teased a big possibility for the upcoming Deadpool movie.

We know that Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds have worked together in a number of Netflix movies now due to their contract with the mammoth OTT platform. In their recent Netflix movie together called the Adam Project, another Marvel superhero Mark Ruffalo who plays the role of the Hulk in MCU has also worked alongside them. In the movie, he is the father of Ryan Reynolds’ character and they have a pretty incredible bond.

Deadpool and Hulk to team up in Deadpool 3?

During the shoot of the movie, the two actors shot a pose together where both of them were lying down on grass opposite to each other with their heads touching. In a suitcase beside them, we could see a sticker of Hulk and Deadpool. Well, fans had noticed it beforehand as well but they did not pay much attention to it until today. Director Shawn Levy himself posted the pic on his Twitter handle today with the caption: “Little did I know…” and he tagged the actors.

Although most of the fans think it is nothing but a joke, some have suggested that it might be an indication of his plan for the Deadpool 3 movie and that we could see Deadpool teaming up with the Hulk.

It was not the first time when Levy was connected to the prospect of a Deadpool – Hulk team up. He was asked this question in the promotion of Adam Project many a times and he replied to an interviewing by saying:

“I’m not going to say where or how, but I absolutely will confirm my intention and determination to be the lucky son of a b*tch who puts those two magnificent gods in the same movie together.

    – Shawn Levy

“That will happen, and that will be me,” Levy concluded.

  • Marvel announces the Director of Deadpool 3

After much anticipation, Marvel has finally started giving us details of its most awaited upcoming movie Deadpool 3. Marvel acquired the right to the character from Fox Studios many months ago and they will not introduce the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It had already been confirmed that from now on, Deadpool movies will be set in the MCU which we are familiar with and thus we can expect to see some cameos by popular Marvel superheroes. It seems like the Production stage is almost complete now and we have started getting details about the movie.

Shawn Levy hired as the director of Deadpool 3

    Shawn Levy

According to reports, Marvel has almost completed a deal with Canadian-American director Shawn Levy whose famous works include the Night at the Museum movie series and the Real Steel movie series. Recently, he has also directed two popular Blockbuster Popcorn movies – The Adam Project and Free Guy, both of which stars Ryan Reynolds in the lead role. Well, this is a positive sign as we all know that Ryan Reynolds is returning as Deadpool in the threequel of the franchise.

Free Guy and The Adam Project have both been very highly rated by the Audience and have worked in two continuous movies together, it can be estimated that Reynolds and Levy have built very strong chemistry by now and they could use it to their advantage in Deadpool 3.

All we know about Deadpool 3 so far

However, in one way, Deadpool 3 will be tricky for both Marvel and Shawn Levy. You see, both MCU and Shawn Levy have never made an R-Rated movie before. We all know that a character like Deadpool needs an R-Rated movie to clearly portray all his shades. Fox Studios thus kept both the Deadpool movies R-Rated and MCU has decided to follow that path. This means that Deadpool will be MCU’s first R-Rated movie.

It is also being rumoured that Ryan Reynolds has been assigned with some additional duties this time than just playing the lead role. He is supposedly also helping Marvel with the hiring process and maybe it was his idea to bring in Shawn Levy as he is the director with whom he bonds the most currently. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin have been hired to write the movie and Ryan Reynolds suggested their hiring as well.

Seeing the current state of affair of Deadpool 3, we might expect the shooting to start by mid-2022 which means that we can expect Deadpool 3 to release somewhere around late 2023.

Marvel has already announced Deadpool 3 and we know that the much loved Superhero movie franchise will be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we are so familiar with. After getting back the rights to the franchise and the character from Fox Studios, Marvel seemingly has a lot planned for Deadpool and a cameo appearance in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one.

Actor Ryan Reynolds will make his return as Deadpool in the threequel of the franchise and Shawn Levy will be directing it. Meanwhile, these two have now revealed a big teaser for Deadpool 3 which you need to know.

Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy have worked together on quite a good deal of projects together now. Reynolds’ two most recent projects. Fall Guy and The Adam Project have both been directed by Shawn Levy and the chemistry between both of them can do wonders in Deadpool 3.

Hugh Jackman set to make an appearance in Deadpool 3?

Interestingly though, it had been known for a lot of time that Shawn Levy wanted to cast Hugh Jackman beside Ryan Reynolds in many of his movies but somehow it never happened. However, fans think that Deadpool 3 might finally give Levy this golden opportunity.

On being asked about the possibility of this happening, Shawn Levy did not rule anything out and that has just intensified the curiosity of the fans.

“I’m not going to say where and how, but I absolutely will confirm my intention and determination to be the lucky son of a bitch who puts those two magnificent gods in the same movie together. That will happen and it will be me,” Shawn Levy said.

Ryan Reynolds seemed equally excited on hearing about the prospect of him and Hugh Jackman teaming up in a Superhero movie once again. Previously, we have seen both (Ryan and Hugh Jackman) of them together in the X-Men franchise but they are set to make their MCU appearances now.

“That would be amazing,” Reynolds said. “I say write to Kevin Feige, care of Marvel Cinematic Universe at whatever Buena Vista Way. I don’t know where it is, but yeah, that would be nice. That would be a dream. That would be dream come true.”

    – Ryan Reynolds

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will open doors to different possibilities and thus it gives Marvel the open hand to do whatever it is that they need to do to explain their upcoming timeline and suggests the notion that Marvel will be coming up with some crazy collabs in the near future.
