Hugh Jackman set to return as Wolverine – But not in Multiverse of Madness

Marvel has already announced Deadpool 3 and we know that the much loved Superhero movie franchise will be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we are so familiar with. After getting back the rights to the franchise and the character from Fox Studios, Marvel seemingly has a lot planned for Deadpool and a cameo appearance in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one.

Actor Ryan Reynolds will make his return as Deadpool in the threequel of the franchise and Shawn Levy will be directing it. Meanwhile, these two have now revealed a big teaser for Deadpool 3 which you need to know.

Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy have worked together on quite a good deal of projects together now. Reynolds’ two most recent projects. Fall Guy and The Adam Project have both been directed by Shawn Levy and the chemistry between both of them can do wonders in Deadpool 3.

Hugh Jackman set to make an appearance in Deadpool 3?

Interestingly though, it had been known for a lot of time that Shawn Levy wanted to cast Hugh Jackman beside Ryan Reynolds in many of his movies but somehow it never happened. However, fans think that Deadpool 3 might finally give Levy this golden opportunity.

On being asked about the possibility of this happening, Shawn Levy did not rule anything out and that has just intensified the curiosity of the fans.

“I’m not going to say where and how, but I absolutely will confirm my intention and determination to be the lucky son of a bitch who puts those two magnificent gods in the same movie together. That will happen and it will be me,” Shawn Levy said.

Ryan Reynolds seemed equally excited on hearing about the prospect of him and Hugh Jackman teaming up in a Superhero movie once again. Previously, we have seen both (Ryan and Hugh Jackman) of them together in the X-Men franchise but they are set to make their MCU appearances now.

“That would be amazing,” Reynolds said. “I say write to Kevin Feige, care of Marvel Cinematic Universe at whatever Buena Vista Way. I don’t know where it is, but yeah, that would be nice. That would be a dream. That would be dream come true.”

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will open doors to different possibilities and thus it gives Marvel the open hand to do whatever it is that they need to do to explain their upcoming timeline and suggests the notion that Marvel will be coming up with some crazy collabs in the near future.
