  • Latest Marvel rumour reveals many Thor variants will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder

    Thor: Love and Thunder: Perhaps the biggest question that Marvel fans from all over the world have right now is when will the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder be released. Thor 4 is the most anticipated MCU project of the year after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and it is set to release on 8th July 2022. However, less than four months are left in its original release date and the Marvel Studios are yet to release the trailer of the movie this has heightened the excitement about the movie. 

    While some sources have revealed that the movie is undergoing some major reshoots, especially in the scenes involving Christian Bale who plays the role of Gorr the God Butcher in this movie, some also suggest that the real reason might be much more serious and that Marvel might be facing some problems regarding Thor: Love and Thunder. Meanwhile, we have come across a very feisty rumour about the movie which will keep the hype about Thor 4 up and rolling. 

    Thor: Love and Thunder to Show Multiple Thor Variants

    According to this latest rumor, Thor: Love and Thunder will include Thors from various time periods. It also said that they’ll each have a distinct tone and help conquer Gorr the God Butcher. Well, for the unversed, this has originally taken place in Marvel Comics and if MCU indeed goes down that path, Thor: Love and Thunder might very well become a comic-book accurate movie. However, the involvement of Mighty Thor a.k.a Jane Foster hinders that notion as Gorr never actively faced the Mighty Thor. 

    Gorr the God Butcher has appeared in mainly two comic book series in the Thor franchise and that was in Thor: God of Thunder and King Thor. In one of the comic book series, Gorr the God Butcher made all the Norse Gods his slaves and he forced them to create one of the strongest weapons in the Universe for him which was called the God Bomb. It would wipe out all the Gods from existence in the blink of an eye and thus Thor variants from three different timelines – Young Thor, Thor (the one we know) and Old Thor came together to face Gorr. 

    Unfortunately, the God Butcher still managed to defeat them all and he could finally be stopped only after his own son turned against him. This is one of the classic Thor tales and it would be brilliant if the makers of Thor 4 was used in their storyline for the movie. However very little is known about the movie so far and we can not say anything for sure unless the trailer is released.

  • Christian Bale reshoots his scenes in Thor: Love and Thunder

    The fourth film of Marvel’s Thor franchise, i.e. Thor: Love and Thunder are set to release on 8th July 2022 but the fans are yet to get the trailer or even single official footage from the movie. If the 8th July release date is not pushed, Thor 4 will sit with the shortest time in MCU history between the first trailer and final release. Given how everything is going right for Marvel, they would not want to mess things up by delaying the release of the trailer further. However, we now finally know why Marvel has not released the trailer yet.

    Thor: Love and Thunder undergoing Re-shoots

    According to reports, Thor: Love and Thunder are undergoing re-shoots currently and some shots of Christian Bale who is playing the role of the main antagonist of this movie Gorr the God Butcher are being re-taken. And this is why the trailer release is being postponed.

    This is nothing new and Marvel is pretty well known for taking re-shoots to get the appropriate footage that fits the storytelling. Recently, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also underwent a 6-weeks long re-shoot session due to which Benedict Cumberbatch had to miss the promotion of Spider-Man: No Way Home as well. However, this is the first time that an MCU movie is undergoing re-shoots at a time when the trailer should have already been released.

    What we know about Thor: Love and Thunder

    Previously, some images of Bale’s look as Gorr the God Butcher got leaked on the internet but that was pretty much it and we know nothing else about the 4th film of the Thor franchise. Although this might increase the excitement of the fans, Marvel must release at least a teaser soon lest the fans stop caring about the new movie altogether.

    Gorr the God Butcher is one of the most powerful enemies of Thor in Marvel comics and has a very sad backstory. Unlike the other villains, Gorr does not usually kill civilians but his mission is to eradicate the Gods.

    There are a number of Gorr the God Butcher Storylines in Marvel comics but is not sure which of them will be used in Thor: Love and Thunder. However, we know this much that Natalie Portman is making her MCU return as Thor’s love interest Jane Foster who will be reportedly taking up the Thor mantle to become Mighty Thor.

  • Thor: Love and Thunder Post-credit scene revealed! Big update about the future of Mighty Thor

    Marvel is yet to release the official trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder but rumours about the alleged future of the Thor franchise have already hit the roof. According to recent reports, The Mighty Thor, played by Natalie Portman, will get her separate Disney+ MCU series, the production of which will start soon after the release of Thor: Love and Thunder. 

    All we know about the Mighty Thor

    First things first, who is mighty Thor? Well, Mighty Thor is a version of Thor that emerged after his beloved girlfriend Jane Foster took up the mantle of the Superhero. If rumours are to be believed, this storyline will be one of the major plots in the upcoming Thor movie alongside obviously the debut of Gorr the God Butcher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

    Marvel Comics introduced the Mighty Thor series only a few years back in 2015. According to that storyline, Jane Foster lifted Thor’s Mjolnir and got transformed into the Goddess of thunder, the Mighty Thor. She virtually replaced Thor as the protector of Asgard’s Ten realms. Her only problem was that her mortal form was suffering from cancer. 

    While we know that Marvel usually tweaks its comic-book storylines a bit when they are turned into movies, it is hard to guess how much they will change the Mighty Thor storyline as there is they will face a number of problems in it. Firstly, MCU’s Thor wields the Stormbreaker and his Mjolnir has been broken. So it would be fascinating to see which is the mystical hammers Jane Foster lifts. Will the Mjolnir make a comeback in Thor 4? 

    Mighty Thor has had several storylines over the years including the one time when she sacrificed the Mjolnir in a fight and one where she became Thor before becoming the Mighty Thor. 

    Rumoured Post-Credit Scene of Thor: Love and Thunder

    According to the reports, the post-credit scene of Thor: Love and Thunder will tease the solo Disney+ MCU series of Jane Foster. We have seen on various previous occasions that mid-credit and post-credit scenes of famous Marvel movies were leaked before their release and thus we can not ignore any possibility. 

    Marvel is lately focusing on its female characters. Shuri, Wanda Maximoff, She-Hulk and Jane Foster, America Chavez, Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova are all set to get big Marvel projects in days to come.

  • Leaked images of Thor: Love and Thunder Lego set shows a Monster attacking New Asgard

    Marvel has already announced that the much-awaited fourth instalment of the popular Thor franchise (Thor: Love and Thunder)will be released in the latter part of 2022. However, it’s already February and we are yet to get an official teaser or even any first look into any character of the movie. 

    All we have at this point are rumours and anecdotes from some leaked images that confirmed that Gorr the God Butcher will be the main antagonist of the movie. However, some leaked images of future LEGO sets have now revealed some interesting details about the upcoming movie. 

    Thor: Love and Thunder Lego set makes big revelations 

    We have received a number of details about Thor: Love and Thunder already from LEGO sets. Previously, a LEGO set confirmed that Gorr the God Butcher will indeed be the villain of Thor 4 and also gave us a first look into his extremely powerful weapon of mass destruction – the All-Black Necrosword. 

    However, that was an official Marvel released set and the leaked LEGO set that has now gone viral on the Internet is yet to be announced. The leaked LEGO set image shows Thor, Mighty Thor, God the Gorr Butcher and a fourth unrevealed character. 

    The character, who is clearly an antagonist, looks like a Dragon-like monster with wings and might make an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. 

    Although there have been countless instances in the past where characters that came in the LEGO sets of an MCU movie did not make an appearance in the final edit of the movie at all, it seems like this time it might very well be an actual scene from Thor: Love and Thunder. 

    All the other characters, namely Thor (to played by Chris Hemsworth), Mighty Thor a.k.a Jane Foster (to played by Natalie Portman) and Gorr the God butcher (to be played by Christian Bale) that can be seen in the LEGO sets have been confirmed to appear in the movie. There is thus no reason not to believe that the Winged monster might not appear as well in the movie. 

    The movie that is going to be set in New Asgard is likely to feature a threat big enough to destroy the entire kingdom. Gorr is known to have a big army but the style that director Taika Waititi adapted in Thor: Ragnarok suggests that he won’t mind adding a second devilish threat in the upcoming movie as well. 

    Who is the Giant Winged Monster? 

    But who can this Giant monster be? According to Marvel nerds, it might be the Midgard Serpent. Although it has no resemblance to the LEGO set, he too is a giant monster and has appeared in Thor Comic-books on numerous occasions. However, it might also be a completely new and original character that Taika Waititi creates for the MCU.
