In the biggest news of the day, Hollywood actor Ezra Miller who plays the role of ‘The Flash’ in the DC Universe has been arrested by the Hawaii County Police Department from a karaoke bar on charges of Harassment and disorderly conduct. The incident reportedly took place on the night of 28th March.
According to police reports and other people who were present in the bar at that time, Ezra MIller became agitated all of a sudden and he turned extremely aggressive. He took away the microphone from a lady who was singing and even threw himself on a guy playing the darts. The owner of the place tried to calm Miller down many times but he would not budge and thus the owner had to call the police who then detained them. They were charged with both offences and had to pay a bail fee of $500.
This is not the first that Ezra Miller has been seen getting involved in this type of behaviour in the public. He was seen choking a lady outside a bar in Iceland almost two years ago. It had led to a huge controversy back then and fans were claiming that Ezra MIller be removed from his role as the Flash by Warner Bros but nothing happened as such.
However, if things like this continue to take place, DC and Warner Bros might take some strict actions against the actor which will be a huge blow to them as Ezra Miller’s first solo DCEU movie ‘The Flash’ is set to release in a year and it will be a huge turning point in the DC Extended Universe.
According to reports, Ezra Miller is suffering from some personal problems and this is the reason for his anomalous behaviour. It is also said to be the reason why the Flash had to be postponed from November 4, 2022, to June 23, 2023.
Ezra Miller has so far featured in two DCEU movies – Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League (both 2017 and 2021 versions) and his upcoming big DC project is The Flash which will be his first solo DCEU movie. He also has a big role as Credence Barebone in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore which is set to release on 8th April 2022.
