  • Morbius Post Credit scene gets leaked on the Internet

Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man Universe movie ‘Morbius’ is set to release tomorrow and so far nothing is going well for the makers of the movie. From negative early reviews to Fans criticising Morbius for Trailer baits and an unpolished plot and now apparently, things have even worsened further ever since the release of a clear quality leaked video of Morbius’ Post Credit scene as the fans are extremely mad about the unappealing Post Credit scene. In this article, we shall be talking about this Post credit in particular.

    WATCH: Morbius Post Credit Scene

In the post-credit scene of the Sony Studios movie, we can see that Dr Michael Morbius is standing in front of a big field and upon hearing a loud noise, he turns himself into his partial Living vampire form in fear of danger which is a good detail. However, it turned out to be Michael Keaton’s Vulture and apparently he had asked Morbius to meet him here. Michael Keaton’s Vulture told Morbius that he was still figuring out this place which confirms the fact that during the No Way Home mess, Adrian Toomes got transferred to the Sony verse.

Toomes then proposed Morbius start a group of ‘similar people’. “Guys like us should team up to do some good”: were his exact words to which Morbius replied by saying, “Intriguing!”

This is definitely a teaser to a possible Sinister 6 lineup in the future. As the director of Morbius confirmed a few days ago that Venom and Morbius are in the same Universe, it is confirmed that the two characters will meet at some point and it might be so that the Tom Hardy played character becomes a member of the Sinister Six as well.

The sinister six lineup suggests that there will possibly be a Spider-Man project in the very near future of the Sony verse and thus we might get to see Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield playing the role. After all, the director confirmed that we shall knowing about the presence of a Spider-Man in Morbius’ storyline very soon.

  • Leaked image from Morbius confirms the existence of Peter Parker in same Universe

Sony Studios’ latest Marvel movie Morbius is set to release in less than 3 days’ time on 1st April and fans are very excited for the origin story of the infamous Spider-Man Anti-hero. Although the early reviews of the movie are not that great and critics have called it as much as Boring, Unnecessary and lacklustre, there was a hidden detail in the movie which is now coming out and it might have huge implications on Sony’s Spider-Man verse going forward.

Many critics have accused the makers of Morbius of adding several bait scenes in their trailers which have not even made the final cut of the movie. The famous scene from the trailer where Michael Morbius walks past a Spider-Man graffiti, for example, is reportedly not even present in the movie and was only added to pull more audience to the theatres. While it is true, Morbius has also given away some major hidden details that only true Marvel fans could notice and if those be true, Morbius might have just teased a big possibility for Sony’s upcoming Spider-verse movies.

Let us now talk about the leaked image that is being referred to here. A leaked image from the movie shows a Daily Bugle news piece. Marvel fans will know that the Daily Bugle is the News Company that Peter Parker used to work for and we have seen references to it in several past Marvel movies and we most recently saw it in a modernised version in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The Daily Bugle news piece from the leaked Morbius image shows has the name ‘Peter Parker’ written over it below a specific photograph in a very small font. Now given the fact that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is the only Peter Parker whom we have seen working in the Daily Bugle, this easter egg suggests that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is present in the same Universe as the Living Vam

In a part interview, the director of Morbius revealed that some version of Spider-Man is obviously present in the same universe as Morbius and he also said that Morbius is in the same universe as Venom. This points out that Venom, Morbius, Tobey’s Spider-Man (and also Vulture) are present in the same Universe and thus we might possibly see a Sinister 6 lineup in Sony’s next Spider-Man movie featuring Tobey Maguire. However, all these are just theories.

  • Latest Morbius leak reveals a disappointing truth about the movie

Sony’s upcoming Marvel movie Morbius is set to release in about a week’s time on 1st April but a majority of critics have already seen the movie and a number of leaks have already gone viral on the Internet. However, if the leaks are to be believed, fans who will go to the theatres expecting a possible connection between Morbius and MCU or any other Spider-Man universe will be in for a big disappointment.

Morbius has been under development for almost three years now and its release had to be postponed on several instances due to COVID-19. The trailer of Morbius gave away a number of easter eggs that suggested that the character was somehow connected to either Raimi’s Spider-verse, Venom-verse or maybe even the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A Daily Bugle newspaper, a graffiti of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Adrian Toomes a.k.a Vulture himself – the Morbius trailer had easter eggs from a whole lot of universes. This led fans to raise the question as to which Universe is Morbius actually set in?

This was supposed to be one of the key driving forces that brought audiences to the halls as they were too intrigued to know which universe the movie was set in (Yes, No Way Home raised the expectations too much).

However, if the leaks are to be believed, the makers of Morbius are perhaps themselves confused about Universe in which the character is set in and the Easter eggs were all but trailer baits.

According to some Twitter user @Tom_Smith717, the scene from the trailer where Michael Morbius was walking past a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man graffiti was not even added in the final edit and So was the case with the Daily Bugle newspaper. These were all trailer baits aimed at bringing more and more audiences to the theatres.

Another big scene from the trailer was Adrian Toomes’ appearance. Fans wondered what an MCU character was doing in a Sony Studios movie. However, according to rumours, the actual role of Michael Keaton is not what the trailer is showing and he has just received very small screentime in the post-credit scene. So this was yet another Trailer bait.

Marvel has been infamous for using trailer baits and they have done it before too on many occasions. However, the way in which Morbius’ trailer misguided the fans is one of a kind and no Marvel movie has done this before. If all these leaks be true, the trailer baits might backfire for the creators of Morbius

  • Director confirms that Morbius and Spider-Man are set in the same universe

Perhaps the biggest speculation for the upcoming Morbius movie has been whether Sony’s new Anti-hero is based in the same Universe as Spider-Man or Venom. The various hidden details and easter eggs in the two Morbius trailers have confused the fans even further as some clues hint that he is in Andrew Garfield’s Universe, some think he is in Venom’s Universe, some think he is in Tobey Maguire’s Universe while some think that he is in a different shared Universe of his own. However, the director of the Movie has finally himself shed light on this confusion.

Spider-Man and Morbius in same Universe

Morbius Director Daniel Espinosa revealed that there is indeed a Spider-Man in Morbius’ Universe but to know which version of Spider-Man it is, we will have to keep an eye on Sony’s upcoming Marvel projects very carefully.

On being asked whether there was a Spider-Man in Morbius’ Universe, Espinosa unhesitantly said:

“Of course! I mean, in almost all Spider-Verse or, you know, the (universes) that existed in the Marvel universe, if you read the comic books, the whole idea of that kind of – the Marvel string theory, if you would call it that. It’s very related to, if you remember, the alternative Seinfelds. You have a world where you have the same characters, and it’s ALL of the characters, but they are slightly different. So in almost all verses, you have Spider-Man, or a Fantastic Four, or a Tony Stark, or a Morbius. But they will be different in tone.”

    – Danuel Espinosa

    Connections with MCU

After watching the trailer, one thing that Marvel fans have noticed is that Sony is emphasizing too much in the cameo of Adrian Toomes who is the Vulture from Tom Holland’s universe. It clearly indicates that Sony is trying to bring more Audiences to the theatres using its ‘MCU card’ but it also suggests that might soon start connecting its universe with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Talking about a “Spider Totem” in all the universes, the director said, “That’s not quite the way that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (is) approaching the idea, but they’re remaining to some core truth. Then you have the second kind of legend, which is about the totem. Which is that, in all universes, there is a spider totem. Which means that in all universes, there has to be a Spider-Man. Or a Spider-Woman.”

  • Jared Leto wants Morbius and Spider-Man to team up in Future

Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man universe movie Morbius is set to release in two weeks’ time on 1st April and the stakes are as high as it gets. Sony Studios’ take Morbius has the potential to become one of the strongest Spider-Man villains we have seen to date on the screen and it is thus important that the movie gets the sort of reaction that Sony wants it to so that we could see more of Morbius in Sony’s Marvel-verse in days to come.

Meanwhile, actor Jared Leto, who plays the role of Morbius in his namesake movie has opened up on his ambitions of teaming up with Spider-Man Tom Holland in a Marvel project. In comic books, Morbius has mostly been shown as a villain but often he is also referred to as an anti-villain. Sony is most likely to go down that anti-hero role similar to what they did in the Venom franchise.

Jared Leto on a possible Crossover between Morbius and Spider-Man

Speaking up on that topic on the red carpet for the Critic’s choice award, Jared Leto told Entertainment tonight, “Well, I tell you that I would love to get in the ring with Spider-Man and I think Tom Holland is amazing. We’d make quite a dynamic duo, I guess.”

He also quickly promoted his upcoming movie by saying that Morbius will present a ‘different take on the Marvel Universe.

“I think it’s a different take on the Marvel universe, and it’s a brand new character so I’m super excited to share that with audiences, April 1st. April 1st, coming out. Very excited, in theatres only,” he said.

    – Jared leto

Jared Leto’s words might prove to be right after all because the appearance of Adrian Toomes a.k.a Vulture in the movie has opened up gateways to the Tom Holland’s possible future appearance in the Sony Universe.

Morbius will serve as an origin story for Marvel’s namesake anti-hero. Dr Michael Morbius who is a Nobel prize-winning Biochemist suffers from a rare blood disease that is slowly killing him and millions of others on the planet. In an attempt to find a cure for himself with the help of bats, Morbius mistakenly turns himself into a living bloodthirsty vampire who needs to drink human blood to survive. However, he goes through phases which means that he does not always remain in his vampire form.
